One of my closest friends emigrated. Such a special event needed an appropriate gift. A laser cut wooden box, decorated with graphical elements and velvet inside. A box filled with memories. A collection of most
hilarious and beautiful moments we have had together. (So far).
The graphics on the outside were individually cutted, each with different depth levels ranging from 1 to 4 millimeters. The contrast in colour determined the depth of each cut.
All the participants were asked to upload a video of maximum three minutes, captured on a place of choice, saying whatever they want. They were their
own directors.
The box included a documentary of the whole making process and a teaser video that we've watched together before he unwrapped his gift. A 40 minute dvd with all the recordings, photographs and small objects that were inside made the gift complete.
